A formal inauguration of Sensei Iwan Setiawan as President of Shindoka was held and attended by Sensei Arai, Sensei Morooka, Sensei Sakamoto, Sensei Kawata, Sensei Wong and Sensei George Tan. The President and Executive Council of SHINDOKA was formally endorsed by FORKI (National Karate Federation of Indonesia). The new Committee will carry out it's duties from 2008 to 2013. Amongst their priorities is the 12th APSKF to be held in Jakarta in 2010.
